Lawton woman accused of embezzling over $30,000 from My Dentist
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – A woman is accused of embezzling tens of thousands of dollars from My Dentist.
Michelle Lynn Halye faces a single charge of felony embezzlement.
Through a company audit, she is accused of stealing nearly $39,000 of company funds.
Halye was employed by My Dentist, 2111 Cache Road, between Jan. 28, 2022, and Feb. 27.
Over that time period, when cash payments were deleted, Halye is accused of either changing the fees at the same time, made professional discounts, miscellaneous credit adjustments or insurance adjustments to cover the deleted amount, the probable cause affidavit states.
She faces up to eight years in prison plus fines up to $10,000 plus restitution.
